The credential is the document in which you collect stamps along the Way. The Pilgrim Reception Office states that it must be issued by the Church or by authorised organisations.

Starting in Ferrol provides more than the continuous 100 km required for pilgrims on foot or horseback, provided the pilgrimage meets the current Cathedral rules. Ferrol Tourism states that municipal tourist offices sell pilgrim credentials.
