Ría de Ares a pé
A coastal walk between Ares, Chanteiro and Mugardos with constant estuary views.
The route follows lanes and quiet roads along the south shore. Small beaches, viewpoints and marsh alternate, with the Ferrol Arsenal always in the background.
It can be walked one way, returning by bus or by ferry from Mugardos. Some stretches have little shade: avoid the middle of the day in summer.
