Camiño Inglés
The pilgrim route from Ferrol to Santiago, with short stages and plenty of services.
The English Way from Ferrol covers 112.5 km in five official stages. It starts at the Curuxeiras docks, crosses Ferrol and Narón, follows the estuary to Pontedeume and then heads inland via Betanzos, Bruma and Sigüeiro to Santiago.
It is quieter than the Camino Francés and logistically simple: hostels and services exist on every stage. To receive the Compostela you must walk the final 100 km, which starting in Ferrol satisfies.
Getting there
Starts at the Curuxeiras docks in Ferrol harbour.
