A fishing port, open beaches and the gateway to Santo André de Teixido and the Capelada range.
Cedeira lives from its harbour and from nature tourism. The town spreads between the quay, the town beach and inland parishes, on a coast that alternates fine sand and cliffs.
North of town the road climbs to Santo André de Teixido, one of Galicia's most visited shrines, and continues across the Capelada towards Cariño. It is one of the most spectacular drives in A Coruña province.

North of Valdoviño, about 25 km from Ferrol. The road continues to Cariño along the Capelada range.
